This is a recorded in-service from Bradford Schools in Columbus, OH.

The topics discussed in this in-service center around student motivation in three, key areas:

• Emotional engagement: Do students feel included in the school and have feelings of belonging to the school?
• Cognitive engagement: Are students personally invested in and take ownership of their learning?
• Behavioral engagement: Are student participating in all areas of the school? This includes academic, social and extracurricular activities.

In each area,  strategies and processes will be discussed to help students overcome these engagement hurdles. This recorded in-service is approximately one-hour in length.
